On July 26, 2023, the World Vision-Eastern Africa & Philippine Sponsorship Team visited the Child Protection Club of Cyendajuru Primary School in the Simbi sector, Huye district, in the Southern Province of Rwanda.

The club was established as part of an ongoing partnership project between World Vision Rwanda and the Rwanda Extractive Industry Workers Union (REWU). Its main objective is to put an end to child labor and sexual abuse as well as promote the Children’s rights through advocacy and other child centered programs. During the visit, children demonstrated to the visitors their daily activities in the Child Protection Club. The day went smoothly, and the guests were satisfied and enjoyed the performances of the children.

 They showcased their talents in various arts, including dance, song, poetry, and sketch. The visitors also were impressed with their ability to answer the questions asked.
