The Police DPS emphasized that protecting children is everyone’s responsibility, whether the child belongs to them or not, and encouraged parents to return to proper parenting practices and fully fulfill their responsibilities toward their children. The Sponsorship Coordinator from Tunga Cluster/World Vision also reminded participants about the importance of preventing child labor and discouraging children from leaving home for urban areas to work instead of attending school.

The meeting concluded with remarks from the Guest of Honor, the Vice Mayor in charge of Social Affairs (ASOC), who proposed key measures to combat violence against children. These included improving reporting mechanisms, strengthening parental responsibilities and ending family violence, establishing databases for child victims and identifying violence hotspots at grassroots level, promoting awareness on positive parenting and early childhood education, sharing responsibilities among authorities, creating a collaborative platform for child protection partners, and developing awareness materials with prevention messages against violence toward children.
