Empowering Informal Mine Workers: The Impact of Recognition of Prior Learning in Trinity Musha Mines

Trinity Musha Mines hosted a delegation from the Belgian Development Agency – Enabel Rwanda and the Rwanda Extractive Industry Workers Union. Their visit highlighted the impact of Recognition of Prior Learning initiative.

Through this program, over 300 informal mine workers from Trinity have been officially certified, marking a significant step in fostering collaboration between employers and employees while empowering workers with formal recognition of their skills.

During their visit, the delegation toured Musha Mine and Heza Decline, witnessing firsthand how these initiatives are driving transformation in the mining sector.
